Eck, Outlaws blank Metamora

METAMORA — Quarterback Dan Eck passed for 140 yards and four touchdowns Sunday to lead the Capital City Outlaws to a 42-0 victory over the Metamora Razorbacks in an 8-Man Football League game.
The Outlaws (6-0) led 20-0 after one quarter and 32-0 at halftime. They got two third-quarter safeties to make it 36-0.
Eck’s touchdown passes went to Zac Crites, Eric Kahrliker, J.D. Holeman and Marcus Bates, with Btest totaling three catches for 76 yards. The Outlaws also got touchdown runs from Deon Morris, and Lawrence Williams, with Morris finishing with 86 yards on nine carries.
Metamora (0-7) gave up four interceptions, two fumbles, six sacks and the two safeties.
The Outlaws’ next game against the Midstate Thunderbirds out of Peoria at 3 p.m. next Sunday at Knight’s Action Park.
